The methodology that transforms your sound in the very first lesson — technique, functional theory, harmony, and modern musical language applied to music.
The result? Besides learning advanced techniques, playing cleanly and with feel, you will also develop your own guitar language and unique phrasing through horizontal, vertical, and diagonal displacements, inverted leaps, non-linear mapping, and melodic keys.
These previously discussed topics are part of a system developed by Ed Garcia so that you don’t become a slave to outdated licks, generic fingerings, solos that sound like “exercises,” and phrases lacking personality.
Guitar Concepts solves this with a functional and musical approach, so that every note makes sense.
From basic to advanced without gaps — you understand the guitar fretboard in a logical and artistic way.
Everything is shown and applied with examples, exercises, and music as well.
Interpretation of scales, melodic motifs, diagonal and horizontal displacements, interval leaps, non-linear mapping, and melodic keys.
Cleanerity, feel, intention, and original phrasing.
Identity in phrasing, confidence in playability and precision, musical perception, and creative development (freedom on the guitar fretboard, dynamics, bend tuning, articulation, ideal choice of notes and melodies).
With smart release so you can progress without getting stuck.
On day 1, you already have access to Modules 1 through 10. After 7 days, all other modules (11 through 40) are automatically released.
This applies to all plans (Annual and Lifetime).

Guitar Concepts — The Guitar Concepts course has a revolutionary method for those who want to transform their playing, starting from the very first lesson. You will learn scales, arpeggios, harmony, harmonic fields, Greek modes, and all techniques in general in an extremely functional and direct way. This methodology was developed to stop you from generically going up and down scales, producing a sound that seems more like a guitar exercise than something truly musical.
In addition to learning to play advanced techniques, playing cleanly and with feel, you will also develop your own guitar language and unique phrasing through horizontal, vertical, and diagonal displacements, inverted leaps, non-linear mapping, and melodic keys.
These previously covered topics are part of a system developed by Ed Garcia so that you don’t become a slave to outdated licks, generic fingerings, solos with the sound of “exercises,” and phrases lacking personality.
This Guitar Concepts method uses the same linguistic reasoning that Ed uses in his instrumental work called “Vitalism.” Playing artistically is the purest way to connect with the right melodies and the most striking phrases, thus achieving the ultimate goal of playing musically. All your limitations and blocks on the guitar will be unlocked.
The course has over 130 video lessons with exceptional audio and video quality. All video lessons have English subtitles, and all modules include PDF and Guitar Pro tablature for extremely easy and didactic follow-through.
Each concept comes with musical examples, and with Guitar Concepts, you will:

Ed Garcia is a guitarist/musician/music producer born in Rio de Janeiro. He began his musical journey at age 11, influenced by his mother.
At 13, he became passionate about heavy metal and distorted guitar in general. His main influences within the style were Jeff Loomis (Nevermore), Stephan Forté (Adagio), Michael Romeo (Symphony X), Henrik Danhage (Evergrey), and Yngwie Malmsteen.
In addition to heavy metal, Ed has always studied and is a great enthusiast of Latin/Brazilian music.
These Latin/Brazilian “traits” have become a hallmark of his instrumental work, “Vitalism”.
Vitalism was founded in 2014 (until then as a solo project), with the aim of bringing influences of Latin rhythms in general to prog metal.
In 2015, Vitalism reached 1 million views on YouTube with their first single, “Gradus.” Shortly after, in 2015, Ed released (still a solo project) the band’s first EP, “CAUSA.” The track “Bipolarity” from this work reached over 4 million views on YouTube.
In 2017, no longer as a solo project, Vitalism reached the 11th position on the iTunes USA chart for one week in the mixed Latin genres category (including pop, etc.), with their second EP titled “SY.” The track “Pagan Part 2” reached over 2 million views shortly after its release.
In parallel, in 2016, 2017, and 2018, Ed Garcia, along with Vitalism, toured and conducted workshops in many European countries and in Israel.
In 2018, Ed Garcia was featured in two editions of YOUNG GUITAR (one of the most important guitar magazines in the world) as one of the world’s rising guitar talents.
In the same year, Ed Garcia recorded an EP called “VERA” with his new project/band (Melodic Death) called “The Mantor.” This work featured drumming by Dirk Verbeuren (MEGADETH).
In 2024, Vitalism, with a new lineup, released their new EP called “ANIMA.” This work topped the iTunes Canada charts (Position 13) and iTunes USA charts (Position 36) in the metal and hard rock category.
That same year, Ed Garcia, along with Vitalism, toured South Korea, where he performed at festivals, concerts, and workshops.
In addition, Ed is endorsed by international brands such as Balaguer Guitars and Stringjoy.
A guitarist and music teacher for over 25 years, he created a unique teaching system focused on modern language and musical performance. Creator of Guitar Concepts and the world-renowned instrumental project called Vitalism, he developed this course with the same reasoning of phrasing construction, intention, and melodic choices that mark his artistic signature.
